I’m moving “back” to Canada~! I emphasis the word “back” because even though Canada is my home country, because I feel that I’m so unfamiliar with everything and moving to a new unknown territory. Even though I grew up and went to school in Canada but I left right when I graduated college, I feel I have little experience with the real society out there.
Toronto here I come!
With the blink of an eye, the 14 years in Korea seemed to have passed so quickly and I knew the time will come, it’s finally time for my return to Canada. I feel extra nervous about this big upcoming move in less than 2 months, partly because of the fact that I haven’t really started preparing much at all. This time feels a lot different than when I first left Canada for Korea, perhaps because this time, I’m not longer a young fresh graduate going out to explore the world, but I’m moving as a father and a husband, and a son travelling to spend more previous time with his aging parents.
For anyone that experience living in Asia, it’s a very different culture and way of life in comparison to the slower pace life style in Canada. In the last 14 years in Korea, I’ve probably worked and also played as hard as humanly possible, and I have zero regret :) But it’s finally time I take a little breather and tackle the list my to-do-later list (Such as revamping this website).
As for HJ-Story, in the coming months, with so many things happening, it’ll probably take some time for me to settle down and get everything back to normal. I’ve mentioned many times in the past, HJ-Story will be a project that I’ll continue to do until the day I die so everyone can rest assure that it’ll continue to be updated. I have so many little plans and ideas that I can’t wait to share with everyone! With this move to Canada, there’ll be many upcoming changes and obstacles, and also many things to look forward to! Maybe I’ll be attending some conventions next year and get the chance to meet some of you too!
Lastly, I’m proud to let everyone know that I’ve managed to finish the 2019 Calendar extra early this year! It’s available for pre-order right now and will begin to ship mid September. Because of the upcoming move, HJ-Shop will be closed after mid October so get your copy now!
