Day 3: Last day in Johor
Today is the last day for my in Malaysia (Johor) before heading over to Singapore tomorrow and start preparing for the upcoming events. Added a few food photos to the end of the post but instead of writing about food I thought to recap a bit about the thoughts about my visit to Malaysia.
This is my 2nd time in Malaysia and prior to coming here I knew absolutely nothing about the country or the people here. Even though I’m sure I’ve only seen the surface of the country and there’re so much that I don’t know. I must admit that it has been one of the most unique and rewarding experience of my life, and it has nothing to do with the amazing food that I ate here, but the people I met.
As I grow older, I realizes that it becomes harder and harder to make new friends. There’re many people that comes and goes, but then there’re those that you just know will become part of your life until the end. The most valuable gift that was given to me were the friends that I’ve made, and even though I cannot put into words how thankful I am for everything. I still want to say THANK YOU to you all (you know who you are :D)

It made me think, if it is perhaps of the short limited time of each trip, that makes every moment so precious, and you learn to appreciate the time together that much more. I’ve drawn a few episodes in HJ-Story about the “little things” of love that we sometimes forget in our busy life. It’s the same for friendship and many other aspect of life, where if we take a moment to remind ourselves that the time in our life is limited, we begin to appreciate everything and everyone around us so much more.
