Day 2: Johor
My 2nd day of the trip was basically eating, rest, eating, rest and more eating. At the time I’m typing his post I’m so full that I’m going to not eat for a day tomorrow (which most likely my plan will fail…)
Today’s post is basically like a food post because that’s pretty much what I did all day.

Hotel room
I was woken up around noon by my hungry friends who were waiting for me to eat lunch. We went to a mall nearby (City Square) and it still amazes me how many giant shopping malls they have in Malaysia, it feels like there one in every corner!

Spicey Ramen for lunch
One thing about the food in Malaysia in general comparing to Korean food is that it’s quite salty, but it’s also sooo good…
Prior to this trip I was so busy trying to finish up my work that I was quite sleep deprived for a month, so for this trip, instead of going around, I plan to take it easy & just relax.
Went back to the hotel and worked out at the gym (unfortunately was tiny) and around 7pm, my friend took me out for another round of feasting at a popular local seafood restaurant. The restaurant was located next to the sea and you can see Singapore on the other side.
One of my favorite food of all time is fried calamari and the salty egg fried calarami in Malaysia is something that I make sure I order every chance I have.

Seafood dinner
Still being full from dinner, we then went to a bar for a casual drink and just when I thought the day’s over, we somehow ended up getting late night “snack” at another restaurant nearby. I was so full that I didn’t even really wanted to take photos of the food anymore because I was started to feel guilty for eating nonstop.

3AM late night “snack” Tom Yum Gong and… more calamari
This pretty much sums up my day of feasting and one more day tomorrow in Johor before heading over to Singapore!
